He started his career working as an accountant for two small/medium-sized CPA Firms. Charles then entered the job placement field, with the intention that unlike most recruiters, he understood the complexities of taxation and accounting. He worked for a large personnel agency, heading up their public accounting division and later formed his own placement firm, Tax Network Resources, Inc. Charles also had a family owned/operated sports apparel business for 10 years, selling top brand sneakers and athletic wear. In early 2000 Charles relocated to South Florida with his wife and children, where most of their family and friends live. PROFESSIONAL ATTAINMENT: As the real estate industry drives a good part of Florida's economy, many companies specialize and/or devote a great part of their practice to this field. Having a fondness for real estate himself, Charles wanted to be more involved in it. He attended the Gold Coast School of Real Estate in Boca Raton, passed the Florida Real Estate Licensing Exam and joined Prudential Florida Realty in Coral Springs/Parkland, an award-winning office. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Charles is involved in many charitable functions. He volunteers for the American Heart Association and has received special recognition for outstanding fund raising during their Heart Walk Campaign. He participated in Habitat for Humanity, Deborah Hospital Foundation and in other charitable functions. Charles has received several awards of merit for outstanding volunteer work. MEMBERSHIPS/ASSOCIATIONS: An active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), The Florida Association of Realtors (FAR), and The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Inc. (RAGFL). OVERVIEW: Charles entered the real estate business where his financial, sales and business background all naturally fit together. With over 20 years of combined experience in real estate, accounting and job placement, he has gathered extensive skills negotiating deals and relating well with people.
